Going shopping

Going shopping tomorrow which truefully, I hate(Unless it’s a bookstore and I have my credit card:) ) I need a few things , have a list. However I know I’ll stray to the craft dept or camera dept and that will be my downfall.

I have been experimenting with doing abstract art work. Then taking camera, setting on macro and taking pictures of it. Sorta been please with some the results. Not please with the limited color choices.Aka my crayola watercolor set.  So I’m hoping to see if I can get something else. Might try a pastel set, only drawback they are messy at times. Just have to wait and see what’s there.

I have to go the camera dept. Need another card for the camera and batteries. I have been looking at new camerasa. The one I got is excellent but it’s only a point and shoot one. I’m looking into a more advance one. So far I’m looking to get one day the new Canon Powershot A710 IS . It has all feature I want and takes great picture. Then I can buy more lenses for it. I really like to get a DSLR. But where I live, there’s no place close by to get them.

We shall see what happens.

Having a chuckle

I'm having a chuckle,90% of my visitors are coming from www.pinkelephants.org/nablopomo.  According to my sitemeter, you only stay for a second . Oh well. I finally last night was able to use and look at some blogs. Found one to add to my list and this past week, somebody left a comment. So that blog will added to my list too. Anybody got their site?

Right now I'm at work at the library. Have a few patrons busy typing away at the computers. It's a dreary day, a few rainshowers are forecast for today. Rather see some snow. No big dump, two inches would be nice.  I think when I get home I'll make myself a cup of tea and work on some poems. I have a few that need my attention. Normally I work on the Star Wars story but I want to write some more instead.

Ok back to work.

No more late posting for me

No more last mintute and late night posting for me. I was about to upload a photo and I just ran into some problems. However from a few Blogger blog, seem a few people were also having problems posting too. I'm sure a few people are cheating but what can you do.

I was busy looking into computers last night. Something I haven't done for awhile. Looks like I'm going to get another Gateway computer. I get to deal with Dells at work. everytime we lose power or the power goes off and off a few times. We lose another computer, well it's the hard drive that frys. Since the begining of June. We lost 5 computers. I'm waiting for one the circulation computer to go. Especially the  one I use, because I stuff save on it and there's no cd burner on it. Maybe I should just put everything on the flash drive and burn it at home.

Rainy day plans cancelled by a headache

Well today was one those perfect rainy days. A good day to work on my photos or type up the latest chapter of my Star War story. Even was going squeeze in some poetry revising. Nope did none that. Woke up to one my famous all day headaches. Lucky for me I didn't have to go to work today. But I was looking forward to working on the photos. However the headache got worse. So skip it. The only thing I manage to do was catch up on the backing up of the photos to cd. At that point I was laying on the bed, waiting for the last cd to get done. However there's a bright side, despite making me ill today. It all sudenly disappear around 6. Weird, Now I'm feeling better but still annoyed at the lack of finished photos.

Tuesday, tuesday, almost over too.

Early light rain, turn
the trail's dust to mud.
Collecting footprints of whoever,
so far they are all friends.

These  footprints of mine.
Covering those  who walk before
with the why, left to the wind.
These won't be save in stone,
To be read in the later times.

Weekend in the next time
The other footprints erase mine.
Already lost to an early search.
So I will not be trace.

Yes I'm the list

Ah I’m finally on the list and getting a few hits. Honestly I could care less about the prizes.I’m doing this for myself. I still have to go through the list and see if I can find a few journals for the bloglines.

I had my chuckle for the day. I was shelf reading, making  sure the books are in order. I was doing 000 to 400 section. Now the 200s are the religion books. We have one Tim Lahaye book call Are we living the end of time(Well something like that). That book always causes me to laugh. He uses the book of Revelation to prove that we are living in the ends of time. Yo LaHaye! you dope!  It clearly states in the Bible, Matthew  24 v36 only God knows what hour hell break loose here. So how can you claim that you know it’s coming? Yes , I smell a money making scheme. With all the craziness going on with Christianity, never why Buddhism is growing fast in America. I don’t really miss church anymore but I would go to a Quaker meeting house, unprogramed one. Ok enough for tonight.

White roses petals stand out
One is pick up, held, mine.
Slip in without her knowing.

Doesn't matter now love.
I lay the red roses as you once did

First Thanks Sharon for the reassurance.

This what I was trying to do. I have to admit it came out good. For this one I printed another picture out and added some more black. Which wasn't too easy due the fact Espon inks are waterproof. Then I took the camera and took a few more close up the print. Voila this what I got. I'm happy with it(finally)
