Both sides of the face is kinda on the big side. Plus a few stitches that by the end of the week will be driving me crazy. Still a little sore and glad for the pain pills. A bowl of chocolate ice cream is very helpful too! Was to get down some pancakes for supper.

Right now typing up this post and watching the Budweiser Shootout on TV. Hoping that Tony Stewart and Kurt Busch get into another wreck. Don't want to see them get hurt. Just want to see Tony punch Kurt face in. But there's a rumor that Tony already decked Kurt in the Nascar hauler. LOL!

The fractal above was today. It's actually two fractals that I used Photoshop to join. Good thing I have a Wacom tablet to cut the two red ones in the black center. tried it with a mouse first. Just turn into a comical routine for the day.  I am enjoying the program. Have a few ideas I want to tried out later on.

One hurdle past -

Ah one hurdle was past today. Had an appointment with the oral surgeon and I happy to report it went well. What I thought would be the major problem, turn into a minor thing. However, next Friday he's taking out the bottom wisdom teeth,plus two other. After that gets done and heal, I'm hoping that next dentist appointment well begin the process of getting the top plate made. It's getting close to year since I started this crazy teeth journey, would like to wrap it up.

Last night right in the middle of going through my bloglines, my DSL connection went south. Lucky for me I still have my dial-up connection. So used it to feed the pets at Neopets. (yes you can laugh) So got behind in the blog reading.

Tomorrow they are forecasting, snow, ice and rain . Not too much but enough to make the day lousy. Please who's ever up there, no headaches with this storm. Would like to work on some poems tomorrow. The muse is here with his sly grin on his face. Oh yes!

Ok like I said before, the DSL is backing working properly! Yes I’m enjoying the faster speed. I actually tonight went through my Bloglines and was able to read everything for a change.If I wasn’t tired tonight, would done more commenting too  Lately I’ve been skipping blogs because it just took too long to download read them, even in bloglines  

I’ll be adding more to my collection of blogs to read. There was one I always enjoy reading but drop because it just took long get her site. However I don’t really remember the title of the blog. It was something call Third House?. I bet a certain Sharon might have it listed in her links page or it was another blog. I will be raiding Marja list of blogs for a few artist blogs to add. Few of Sherry’s friends I would like to visit with too.

Tomorrow is back to the dentist. I’m hoping now we can just finish up fixing this mouth of mine.

 

Happy New Year!!

Ah I feel the tug of the new year already. Whether or not it will be a good year remain unclear. Well at least I got my new iMac to play with.

Speaking of Mac, I have been running Photoshop on it and works great. What help too was moving it off the moniter shelf and setting it down on the desk. Granted I lose some desk space but at least I can read what is what. The only other thing I could due was dropped the sceen resolution down a bit lower. Another thing I could do is buy another chair, but I just put a order in for DSL for the computers.

Yup I got the broadband! Just waiting for them to ship the modem. Going set up it on the Mac first, then tried get to work on the PC. Part of me not ready to submit the new Mac to the internet just yet. Yea I know surffing on the internet is safer on it, however I have virus protection on the PC.  But a few thing I do on the internet needs windows computer. I'm looking forward to able view some videos online and add a few more blogs to my list.

Tomorrow I take down the Christmas tree and put this room back in order. Then I have few artistic thing I want to do. My finger are getting bored and my mind is getting restless too.

Ok I did tried to tone it down a bit but clearly the leaves want to be a bright orange today. I did do a little Photoshop to this, trying to make it a little more unreal. I'm not done playing with this photo either.

Stitches are out! Yes I tried to eat other thing besides very soft food. Had chuckle with the left of my mouth, all the stitches came out these past two day. As for the right side, guess that's normal. Neither dentist said anything about it. Just glad to get them out, they where driving me crazy yesterday So have to go back to the regular dentist in three weeks. Then it's discussion time about getting the plate together.

I did managed to take a walk this afternoon with all these wonderful colors. Now if we only get the temptures to go back down to the lower 70. It was in the mid 80s today!!! Yuck!!! Actually what this area needs is a couple days of rain. Very dry here right now. Oh course the rain can only come on the days I work or at least in the morning. Hahaha on that part.

I would gotten this post up sooner but was watching the Yankee's game. I'm blaming on those little bugs that were flying around the players in droves for thier losing tonight!

Oh so wonderful!!

I was finally able to take a walk around the block today after lunch!!!! The minor problem were, it got a tab warm with black shirt and I should have taken my other set of camera batteries with me. The color is not at it’s peak, seem like it’s a week behind from last year. That’s ok by me this year.

The stitches in the mouth come out Friday afternoon. I’m not sure about the right side but I’ll let the dentist make that descison. There was really a bad tooth there. However I’ll be glad to get them out.

So a wonderful autumn is upon me and I’m loving every minute. I notice that I tend write poems at this time of the year too. Last night while I was on the internet, managed to write to three poems. Not bad for one night. I admit one of the poems, I used my poem maker that’s on my Facebook account.  There will be no working on the poems this Sunday, I have to work. Ugh! Maybe I’ll get lucky and will rain all day. Actually you need a beautiful to keep the patrons away. Maybe I’ll work on some poems that night and used part of Monday afternoon to type them out. Now that part I’m getting behind on.

Then I have to deal with all the photos I’ve been taking. Need to back them up onto the cds. Have them save on the other hard drive. The picture above is from a couple of pictures I took over the weekend an used Photoshop Elements to create it. Not bad.

Feeling better to a point.

Ah feeling somewhat better. Face is swollen a bit, the right side is the worse and now getting  a little black and blue .Plus I have sitches gloria. Now I have to call my dentist back on Mon to see him about getting a impresson made for the plate. Oh such fun!

It's a beautiful day. I would like to take a walk around the block but still tired. So just walk around the yard with the camera. Did pretty good with the pictures taking, hmm shot about 202 pictures. Half the pictures were just me fooling around with settings. Another card waiting to be download. Somethose shots are infrared shots. Now feeling tired, so I'll stop here.

Will be off for a few days

Tomorrow is the day I have all these teeth out. I'm not going tried to get internet untill I feel better and up too it.. So sad to report this blog will be quiet untill then. Also won't be visiting your blogs either. :-(

Ah that's done.

Well that evil deed is done. I finally made the the appointment for the oral surgeon for Sept 13.  That one is only to talk about what;s going be done but still a tough call to make. Now there's no chickening out. Part of me is not looking forward to this and the other is. It took me a week of trying to  make this call, part of it is my fault and the part is mt life not cooperating. Well at least it's done and now some the weight is off my shoulder. So can I go back to living my life ? Thank You!

Finally got my Sept work schedule, very happy about it. Starting Sept 4!, no longer working Sundays!!!!!!!!!!! Yea!!!!! I decide that on Sundays' afternoon I'll be spending it working on poems. No internet, no photography(Ok I'll watch my football game with the sound off) Just simple work on my poetry. Have a couple notebooks filled with rough drafts of poems. Then last week, brought three new ones to fill up. I'm pretty much back to writing 2-3 poems a week. So I really need these Sunday afternoons for the revising part of it.

When I think about it, I do most of my writing during the fall and winter months. There something about those times that bring out the better writing. Another thing that helps i sthe night are getting longer. I seem to settle down more when it's dark.

It also seems that Fall is somewhat in a rush to get here. Some the trees around here are starting turn. There's one tree that seem turn yellow overnight. Then I have the maple across the street. That doesn't start turning untill mid Sept. Maybe it's not Fall that's in hurry, maybe it's winter instead.

Blasted marco lens!

I thought I took the macro lens off my camera and put the uv fliter back on.  Nope and I had two bears in the yard. So made a mad dash upstairs to get the camera. They first went over to the neighbor's driveway, then they headed back across the front yard. By then I was trying snap pictures. Was geting annoyed that it wasn't focus on anything. Then I realize what was going on. By then they were moving on.This was the best shot. Rats!!! Hopefully they come back tomorrow. As for the macro lens, well it's on adapter which is now sporting a big white M on it.

It was a beautiful day, not too hot with a good breeze blowing through. However I've been feeling tired all day. So after lunch I laid down for awhile, that 's something I rarely do.  Really wanted to take a walk today but just couldn't get my act together Blaming this the period again. Oh course having a 9am dentist appointment didn't help. Sorta got lucky with that. Didn't get a crown instead the two teeth got that bonded stuff put in. Looks good.
