Hopefully April will bring -

Spring08bloga

Hopefully April will bring me some warmer temperatures. Plus few a nice days on my days off. I have nothing new in my photo folder.  So tonight I created this using my old Painter Essential. One these days I'll get a newer version. I just hope this looks good on another computer. I'm the iMac right now.

So for the last day of March, it pretty much rain all day. The best part, it didn't snow. So maybe the corner has turned, all the snowflakes are now sleeping in their bed up at the North Pole. Maybe in two week, all the buds on the trees will open and tiny little green leaves will greet the sun.

Cursed at -

Today I cursed at the few snowflakes that fell this morning. Normally I would smile at them as they drift down.

Not this time!

Winter is really hanging around this year. Right now it's about 27F, Brrr and Ugh!! All week it has been cold as it never really went above 40F. I'm at the point to think that Winter has locked Spring in a dungeon.

Next month is the NaPoWriMo challenge and this year, I not doing it. Half the poems I write for it get deleted anyway. So not wasting my energy and besides, lately I've stopping visiting poetry blogs. I just don't really care for the poetry that's been published lately.  There's something missing from the poems. Sorta like a sense of magic is missing from them or a spark of life.

Oh course I don't write the easiest poem to read either. In fact the only poetry I read on a blog is Sharon's . Lately I've been adding some artist's blogs to the roll. Maybe that's why I have been happy with my poetry lately. I've step back into my little quiet world, writing only for this I and not the rest of the world.

Hold comments for approval (Honestly!)

My blog is getting a rash of spam comments again, so I turned on moderation for the comments. I'm not really fond doing the letter thingy. I've ran into a few, where I go "what's that letter?"

I think some people need seriously think about getting a real life.

New poem for spring

Just finished typing this, couldn't  wait until tomorrow to post it..

*******

Spring -
must come in as a wild woman.

For in the heat of her passion for life
is damning those for thinking her as a gentlewoman.
While all the others, grateful to be in her bed.
Do they sell their soul under the full moon too?

She must be part of the Devil’s chain.
For God sends a white lamb for Easter
and in the truth, she reins for the whole season.
But why cause grief to the unseen and untouchable?
It’s not his fault, it’s human to make a mistake.
And human, he truly is and she-

One curl of power, coiling with the heat.
Taking another lover to her warm night bed.
Then leaving corpse to feed the worms.

Oh course, Spring will die -
in the grasp of Summer’s hand at her throat.
Has he not seen his mother do the same?

However, in the coldness of the grave.
She’ll be born again, wanting nothing but passion
and in that wild passion.

Spring kills Winter
and his warm blood warm the earth.

A quiet weekend, sorta of

18yuijpga

One those weekends where it was quiet. Did finish two poems and did that artwork too. It has been cold and windy too. Last Thursday's night I lost power for two hours. Was hoping for quiet Saturday at work, nope we were busy.

Still have to type up that Spring poem. I'll do it after I get off the internet and post it tomorrow. Can't type it up now, not sure where it is.

Oh I wish I could blog about something that's going on in my life for the past year. However this has to stay in a locked diary. It's nothing really bad just plain crazy at times.  Now something happen that will or won't make this coming week interesting. Ok I'll admit, I want fireworks!

It's Spring!!!!!!!

So why did I have wake up with snowflakes falling instead of warm temps and nice sunny skies ?

Oh well :) at least it's Spring now.

Rainy day for Wednesday

Fg1475

It's one those rainy days, where one never feels quiet awake. Oh course, staying up until 12 am to work on a spring poem, doesn't help the either.

So it's rain for today and not snow. There's only two patches of snow left in the yard. The trees outside my windows, all getting bigger buds. In few weeks, leaves will altered the skyline once again.  The sound of the wind will also change, there are days where I feel a feel the energy of it and then wonder what it's trying to tell me. After some much white staring at me this past winter. I'm looking forward to green, knowing by August.

I'll be hating it.

So last night I work on a poem about Spring. Declaring that Spring should be a wild woman. It's funny, I wrote the first and last lines of it last. The middle part, will it never came intil this week. Quite please with it so far, just have to type it out after this. Also another have another poem that needs my attention and I wonder if I can read my handwriting too. Wrote just before going to bed on Monday.

The artwork above was originally a photo of another artwork. Then I took some oil pastel to it and took macro photos of it. I didn't really care for the pink part and tried to tone it down. But in the end, it did work out.

Ah spring is here!!

Robin08

Ah this little messenger of spring has finally arrived in my yard. Snap this photo this morning, this one wasn't to bad, since I didn't have my cup of tea yet.  Lucky for me, either this one or another one came back around dinnertime. Oh course I snap too many pictures.

Everything went well today and I was able to take a much needed walk today. Few more pictures were added to the collection. couple were combined into artwork piece. I'll post that tomorrow. I was also able to sit outside and eat my lunch too. So what if I had wear my lined demin jacket.  I was outside!!, reading my latest Macworld. Then read more Life Class by Pat Barker.

At least part this week will be spent looking at B&N.com. Monday is my birthday and the parents gave me $25 to spend there. Not sure if I want cds or books. Both I have plenty of but a few more won't hurt.

The forecast for the weekend is calling for some snow, not much. I'm sure we're going get one more dump of snow before Spring settles in and stays.

Snowflakes and tree buds

Mk0256w

Ah! I notice today that trees buds are finally getting bigger, despite the snowflakes that fell today. Still looking for a robin. The bears might be starting to wake up too. Today the sun set at 7pm, if it wasn't such a cold windy day I would taken a walk.

Yes Spring almost here. Only eight days away.

Hopefully by then, the media will be another subject besides Spitzer. All I'm going say about that is, some guys clearly need to put on a male chastity belt before leaving for work. Yes they do exist! I did a little search before. Tempted to say more but certain things are best written to a locked diary.

Ok new poems.

If there’s fog
pouring into this world.

Does this mean?
the sun is tired of us.

Or has my wish
for total peace has come true.

And this - is his hand
finally smothering us.

****

There is a use of lying in a bed
I’m counting the clouds, all rolling by as a sheet.
And somebody forgot to cut out the snowflakes.

Pity the afternoon clouds-
not enough colors to catch your face.
This mind’s photos is too perfect
and I all I want to do,

is recurve those sad eyes into a life.

Apology -

Will be consider, against
the words it was craft with.
Then from the distant
of your heart from the truth.

And if the smile of another
sings to this heart.
