Redo the blog design

I'm redo the blog design this weekend. So this blog might be a little messy while I doing it.

Spring is here!!

Look who finally show up and like last year, I had shoot through the living window to catch him or her or him. They are a little later because of all the bad weather of late. Or I could just be missing them. Also had two bluebirds in the yard too. They decide to pretty much stay out of my camera range.

I also sat outside to eat my cream of mushroom soup while reading Anna Akhmatova poems. Not a bad way to spend lunch. 

Change the blog theme to something a little more spring like. However I plan to change it once again maybe tomorrow. I found something to use Typepad design area. This could be fun, I just need to create something first.

Was going type up some poems today but decide to enjoy the wonderful day instead.

Beautiful Day!

Beautiful day today!!

Actually sat outside for awhile with my tea and with the birds. I'm hoping to sit outside my lunch too. That would even better!! Most the snow has melted except for mounds by the house.

Now I wish the color was a little better on the photo. For some reason jpeg file is not behaving itself tonight. The Photoshop file is perfect.

I'm kinda liking the sun setting at around 7ish now. It will allow me to take a walk after supper when the temps gets a little warmer. I just don't care for when the sun starts setting at 8pm and little later. Now that goofs off my routine. Well can't stop it and just have to until end of sunmmer.

Ok enough, need to dry out now

Between the melting and the rain this past weekend. I think a week of just pure sun would be need to dried out this area. Naturally it was pretty gloomy too. I got lucky on Sunday with a break in the rain to sneak in a walk. As you can see, the water was running at a good clip along the road. I don't think we got as much rain as they predicted and the Delaware river is staying in it's banks. I sure there's a few steams that overflow in my area. Up north in New York state, there's a some flooding going on.

Right now, it's raining again. There were a few spot of pink on the radar too. No, I don't want sleet or snow now. I really could some sun today but must wait for tomorrow for that. 

 

That was taken Saturday afternoon. It was a good afternoon to work on poems and listen to John Adams Shaker Hoops. That piece of music just fit the mood of the day. Now I'm listening to Mahler's symphony #10 conducted by Simon Rattle.

It's trying to lighten up and doing a lousy job too. Tomorrow the forecast is some sun. Plan to visit my co-workers tomorrow too. Then later in the week, it's back the dentist. starting to on getting this top plate made. Yea!!

And course, on Wednesday it's St Patrick's day. and I'm turning the big 4-0 too.

Ugh the rain is smacking the windows now, so much the sun peaking out now.

Do you think this tree wants to get rid this sign?  Can't blame it, after all the tree was here first.Well it was a lovely run of beautiful weather. It's sorta ending with the rain this weekend. However after all the snow I got to deal with (aka shoveled.) I'll take the rain, just not a whole lot. There's concerns of some flooding, it all depends how much rain falls over the weekend. Since Sat it's be above 40 with last two days in the 50s.

Another good thing that happen today I finally got the pile of poems all type up! Now on to revising more this weekend. What else a rainy weekend good for. 

Well you could check this webcam. It's a mother bear with a cub in their den, name lily and Hope It's cute when they are up because that little cub can throw one helluva tantrum. I was watching it yesterday and the mother left the den for a couple minutes. Hope made it quiet clear that was not acceptable.  Which made it even more funny because I though originally that Lily was going start eating the camera. Today they were sleeping more but you can hear Hope make all her cute noises.

Well another good reason to get the Apple iPad has pop up. This is the one factor I was hoping would come true! Barnes & Nobles will create e-reader app for the iPad!!! Yes!!! I have the reader app for the Touch iPod and like it. But for that I wish for a bigger screen at time. Well it's looks like I'll be getting my wish. Apple will also have their own e-reader too.And for somebody who loves book but don't have the room for all the book she wants. This is very good news!
